During Dismounting, The Locknut Is Mounted On Threads Of Withdrawl Sleeve And Locknut Is Rotated With Spanner To But Against Bearing Sides To Push Withdrawl Sleeves Out Easy On The Shafts.

Lock Nuts Are Used To Locate Bearing On Shaft With Assembly Of Adapter Sleeves. These Nuts Can Be Also Used Directly On Shaft Or With Withdrawl Sleeve When They May Be Referred As Shaft Nuts Or Withdrawl Nuts. It Facilitates Mounting Or Dismounting Of Bearing On Adapter Sleeve Or Withdrawl Sleeve As The Case May Be.

Lock Nuts Have Metric Thread Up To Thread Size M 200×3,known As “KM” Series And Have Trapezoidal Threads Fro Threads Size Tr220x4, Known As “ HM” Series. They Have Four Or Eight Equally Spaced Slots Around Outside Diameter For Inserting Hook Or Impact Spanner For Assembly And Disassembly.
